Engineering notes
A few things we always check — and what code references we follow.
- Pier depth is sized to resist overturning moment from the design wind on the exposed sign face plus pole.
- Anchor bolt patterns are detailed for the chosen foundation type with embedment and edge distance per ACI 318.
- Pole sizing follows AISC 360 for steel or ADM for aluminum.
