Engineering notes
A few things we always check — and what code references we follow.
- Canopy columns are sized for combined gravity, wind, and seismic loads per ASCE 7.
- Foundations are designed as drilled piers or spread footings depending on soils.
- Fascia attachment is engineered separately for wind load on the fascia surface.
